Ibrahim Arslan barely survived an arson attack motivated by right-wingers in 1992. Gülüstan Ayaz-Avcı’s husband Ramazan was murdered by neo nazis in 1985. Osman Taşköprü’s brother Süleyman was murdered by the NSU in 2001. May Phương Kollath thought she was safe in Rostock – until one day in August 1992, when a building in her neighbourhood was set on fire. The media's interest in the victims of right-wing violence and their relatives often fades quickly – if it ever existed at all. Mala Reinhardt lets them tell their story and accompanies them in their fight against racism and for a self-determined culture of remembrance.
