Busy Johanna visits her grandmother after a long time. Her mother Ulla happens to be passing by, too. Because of a dispute, which they wanted to keep secret from the grandmother, mother and daughter didn’t speak to each other for a long time. In grandma's garden Ulla and Johanna talk to each other again and the smouldering quarrel escalates. A political family film about alternative lifestyles and a daughter who has found her own "alternative".
