Darius, a backpacker, explores the Estonian countryside. He happens to witness a crime while taking pictures with his camera. When the perpetrators discover him, he flees through the woods and asks for protection in a house by a clearing. But the owner is afraid of the stranger and denies him entry. When Darius' pursuers also arrive at the front door, it becomes apparent that one of the perpetrators is the alienated son of the couple living in the house. The parents have to make a decision...
