OCTAVE is the exploration of an urban world transformed by fragmentary distortion and rearrangement. The idea of time as a physical, tangible and malleable medium is made visible here by rhythmic-geometric image fragments of the silhouette of Hong Kong, accompanied musically by a commissioned composition of the American band "Lucky Dragons". Similar to the view through a kaleidoscope, new patterns, forms and overall a rhythmic dance of an existing and yet enraptured city view emerge continuously on this journey along the skyline of the metropolis.
