We are supposed to be ever faster, more productive and more efficient in our jobs and in life. Time and performance pressure have become our constant companions. Who remembers what it was like when time passed at slower pace? No one can testify to it better than witnesses of these antique ages, who today only remain as objects and sculptures in museums. Still Lives is a stop motion animation with traditional antique sculptures and figures. Accompanied by narrators exposed to the often overwhelming demands of modern life, they explore the theme of busy silence from multiple perspectives.
