In a nightclub in Kinshasa, the mesmerizing glow of mobile phone screens competes with the neon lights of the dance floor; phones and selfie sticks become fashion accessories and dance choreographies. The two-part music video satirically criticizes today's digital culture and the isolation we increasingly impose on ourselves through the use of mobile devices. Here, traits of modern digital culture blur with African fashion, Afro beat, funk and traditional tribal rhythms.
